I still remember their first visit to Destination 5 in Ahmedabad. Paresh Bhatia had asked me to attend the programme on his behalf, as he had to go to Dubai.
I used to play 'Ham Honge Kamyab' song with many mistakes. But soon after the programme I managed to meet Apoorva Bhatt and he immediately invited me to Vadodara promising that he would surely teach me some techniques. And Harmonica got a special place in my life.
Strangers became friends!!!!
There is a long story in between this but some other time .......

When they started playing the song, everyone present in the hall was mesmerized. Though there was a limitation of sound system, this song created the hypnotic effect in the hall and the musical journey started......
One very important fact I would like to mention here is that, Our Amjadbhai Pathan was having Roja, and all Muslim brothers do not eat, drink or put anything in mouth before certain time, but as he is always committed to the HCG and has responsible role to play in the programme, kept all the rules aside and played for this noble cause. Special thanks to him from all of us.
The Hall was packed with 200 most disciplined, knowledgeable senior citizens.

After the programme we got a chance to see Shri Ram Dasji Maharaj in the Santram Mandir.

Truly it was a wonderful and memorable experience.

Harmonica club of Gujarat wishes him and Akbar Qureshi 'EID MUBARAK'. Amjad Khan collects all kinds of Harmonicas. His aim is to have harmonicas of all kinds and makes by the end of the next year. We have to specially thank him for providing the notations for almost 400 songs. He is also known for gifting his harmonicas to the beginners and learners, recently he gave away his brand new suzuki chromatix 64 to someone...

Gaadi Bula Rahi Hai : Apoorva Bhatt

People in Vadodara say That,Textile engineer Apoorva Bhatt got his first harmonica in the cradle !!!
Inspired by his father who used to play flute then, started playing harmonica at a very tender age, has trained more than a dozen professional players.
He played Gaadi Bula Rahi Hai in Ahmedabad, normally Rupesh whistels on harmonica for him but due to certain unavoidable circumstances he could not join the group and Amjadbhai performed without any practice.
This video gives the proper introduction of Apoorva Bhatt's calibre.

Our Heartfelt Condolence

Harmonica Club of Gujarat expresses deep sorrow over the sad demise of Mr. Amanulla Khan, father of our member Amjad khan ( Babubhai ).
He was 68 years old and is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.
May the Almighty give strength to the family to withstand the bereavement.
May his soul rest in peace.

What a start it was with Aum Jay Jagdish Hare in the cancer hospital. Everyone prayed for the patients for their well beings.
CAMA hall was full with patients and their relatives.
All the players now the members of harmonica club of Gujarat enjoyed the Show...DIL SE...........

Talent Galore

Every town has its share of talented harmonica players. We will now be showcasing here the performance of some of the mouth organ players from Vadodara who were invited by the players from Ahmedabad to give a joint performance at the opening of an events management company.
