Harmonica players of Hyderabad, who have formed a club, began performing in a public park last Sunday, with the aim of popularizing this tiny sweet musical instrument. It was a small beginning, reminding us of similar beginning in Ahmedabad. We are sure, like what happened in Gujarat, the tribe of harmonica players in Hyderabad too would grow soon. Here are some video recordings of their performance.
Dear Sabnaveesji, Many congratulations to all of you for doing wonderful efforts. We all wish you and your team a grand success very shortly. These videos do remind the initial days of ours working hard to form the club. It gives immense pleasure and inner satisfaction when we go to the nature and play harmonica. One can really forget his/her identity of what he/she is. I have a suggestion, next sunday pl arrange your programme in the evening with your family members. It will give you the required boost. We did it in Baroda and are doing the same here also. Public Parks are full of people in the evenings especially on Sundays and when we go with family members we have the audience ready, by watching this small musical gathering more and more people will join.
Tapan bhai we are having another player coming in the chain on this sunday. He is a PARSI gentleman settled in Hyderabad. Our number was 4 on the first sunday,6 on the second sunday & it will be 7 on this coming sunday. Like you we are aiming at 12 by the end of november.
of course it was a bit difficult in the begining to convince the people but I just enjoyed. Our Mahender Bhai has really supported me a lot in this effort. Mahender bhai is having garment readymade business here in hyderabad & he hails from Kutch.
As you advised we will have evening sessions next month onwards.
